Table TW, (bz) Italy 2015
The client came to us and wanted a working table for his own office. He had some old cherry-boards in his courtyard, which he had never had use for. The raw wood is cut, but the boards are left unrefined. We took this as the starting point, putting two boards together and installing support that would give a dynamic and unstable impression. It is almost as if the board is flying. The position of the transparent glass foot is precarious; moving it slightly towards the edge would tip the table.
